Nobody, but You

Have you ever asked why you exist in this world? I think that human being will never get the answer for this question because we have no right to ask. We only have right to choose the way to live and cope with what will happen to us. If we choose to do nothing, it is still a choice. Therefore, our lives depend on our choices and nobody can do that to us. However, some people say that: “You are not alone in this world, so your life depends on others”.  I disagree with this opinion with 2 reasons.

First, I agree that we are not alone in this world and each of us has family, relatives, siblings, friends, society. Therefore, we live in human society: live together, work together, eat together, and even sleep together. Moreover, we can exist and develop because of love, care, and help of everyone. I never negate these real values in reality. However, if it’s not correct to say “your life depends on others”. I believe that my life depends on me, not others. My family, my friends, my relives only live with me and help me to exist and complete the human mission in this life. They don’t have right to decide my life. They give me advices to support for my choice, help me to know what should I do, even help me to recognize the negative side of life and I force to choose to act, to live. Moreover, before the challenges and difficulties in this life, I have to cope and fight alone, only me with my problems. I have to say, sometimes, my parents, my friends become a mean in my life to overcome the troubles and get success. So, my life belongs to me, in my hands, not others.

Second, when we are born, each of us has an important mission is living a life. We is given a life and we have to choose how to behave with that life. We have right to live a good life, healthy life and even bad life. Nobody can live that life for us. Life will bring everything to us: the happiest and the hardest. As I said if we choose nothing, it is still a choice. So it forces us to choose and that it is our right. We always think that we are not alone in this world. No, I don’t think so. We are alone in this world, everyone is alone, too. We can feel clearly when we ask who we are or why we exist. Nobody can answer it because how do we know the life of others? We only observe outside and give our own ideas, we don’t know exactly who they are. We live together in a human society, but everyone has an own life, so our life doesn’t depend on others.

Therefore, your life is yours, so nobody can live in it. Therefore, we have to be responsible for what we do and we not only live because of existence, but also human mission. However, I never negate the value of human relationships in this world. We go to the world to live together, love each other and work together. We are invited to be responsible with our life and help others to be better, but we don’t forget this life belongs to you, not others.
