According to Thales who is a wise men of Ancient Greece said that everything comes from water[1]. Water is the first element which founded everything. Another philosopher Empedocles suggested fours elements and among them is water.
Moreover, we have to confirm that Ancient civilizations is associated with the large rivers, such as the Egyptian civilization with Nile river, Indian civilization with Ganga river, Chinese civilization with Yellow river.
In the basins of these big rivers, what we get from these rivers are not only resources about seafood, nutritional soil or water plentiful to produce agricultural products, but they are also where to develope marine industry, and marine services.
Thus, the benefits of rivers which bring to develope economy, marine industry, build harbor town and especially produce agriculture, they help people to be aware the importance of river. So, many people who want to have good conditions to produce and work, gather together in a certain place. To live in harmony, they need law, rule which force everyone to follow. So, that is one form to develope to found a group, a community or a organization of society.
Furthermore, people create relationships and connect together through exchange and trade in goods, work together because agricultural produce need a large amount of worker. Therefore, from the exchange and trade in goods by ships or boats between navigators, that is another form to develope relationship in business and diplomacy.
