We are living in a modern society with many great inventions that have changed human life. In my opinion, the most important invention of the last 200 years is the internet. It is obvious that the internet have changed many sides in our lives, like working, studying, relaxing. First, the internet provides us a huge amount of information. Only a click, we will have anything that we want to find from internet. With searching tools like “Google” or “Yahoo Search”, we will get fast and exact results, so we do not need to lose too much time to find what you need. Nowadays, there are many students who use the internet as the best tool for studying. They do not go to school regularly, but they still study well, even better than those who go to school every day. Furthermore, if we are good at a foreign language, we will have opportunity to know more information about culture, economy, politic, tourism and entertainment around the world through the internet. Actually, the internet brings the knowledge of mankind to be closer to us. Secondly, the internet makes our life happier. As you know, we are living in a world that we always feel pressured and stressful from study and work. But, the internet helps us to be easy to face with our difficulties in our life. Nowadays, many people do not need to waste time going to market or standing a line to buy what they need. We can buy through the internet and shipper is willing to serve us anywhere, anytime. Moreover, from internet, we can find happy and interesting things around us. After hard working or studying, we can relax with a funny clip, a romantic film or a love song. Thirdly, the internet is a wonderful tool for communication. Today, with social networks like “Facebook”, “Twitter”…we can be easy to communicate and keep in touch with our family, relatives and friends in distant places. We don’t waste time to write a letter and go to post office to send it. Besides, we can make friend with others in the world. However, we have to be aware of disadvantages of the internet. Actually, we always have to face with temptations by bad websites. Today, many people use the internet to post and advertise depraved cultures, unhealthy issue in society. So, it affects seriously to our morality. Moreover, there are many interesting things on the internet, so many people spend too much time surfing web, watching film, playing game or do unhelpful things. They no longer want to care about anything around them. Therefore, we cannot negate negative sides of the internet, but the internet is still a wonderful invention of mankind. It plays an important role in development of technology and our modern life. In other words, the internet is good or bad, it depends on the purpose that we use it
